When doing a quick reply to a topic, and I click on the "see all" for the MickEmoticons, nothing opens. Is there a reason? (I'm using Firefox, but that shouldn't matter, right?) Thanks,

I use Firefox, too, and the full long page of [MickEmoticons Set 1 & Set 2 :: Mouseke-Code ] does not load up for me either when I use that particular browser.

If you want the full range and list of the Mick-Emoticons, use Internet Explorer.

Yes, it is Firefox. It doesn't like all pop-up windows.

Edit:
I'm trying it on Safari on Windows XP now. Any of the MickEmoticons pop-up windows do not work (that's "See All", "Set 1" and the useless "Set 2" which never had others added to it, sorry) . . . but the "Mouseke-Code" pop-up window does work.

I'll have to look into how the coding for these pop-up windows was created, and see if I can use the same style for the "Mouseke-Code" pop-up as for the MickEmoticons ones. Could be, though, that to make the MickEmoticons have the icons clickable inside the pop-up is the reason those windows don't work and the Mouseke-Code pop-up does work... Perhaps Firefox and Safari don't like the Javascript (or whatever it is) that makes the MickEmoticons pop-up so useful: not just seeing the list of them but being able to click on them and insert them into your message.

The temporary alternative, besides using the ones which appear to the left of the text entry box when you are doing a reply (not a quick reply) is to manually open the "all MickEmoticons" display in its own, non-clickable window.

To do that, click here (you might want to bookmark that link) or copy and paste into a new browser window's address the part below starting at http...
Code Sample
http://new.disneyecho.emuck.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=Legends&CODE=emoticons

After you see the MickEmoticon you want in that new window, note what the code in the left column is for the desired one, then either type that into your message -- or copy and paste it in. Note: capitalization as it appears on that page does make a difference. Use any capitalization as displayed on that page... and all you'll notice that 99% of the MickEmoticons' text starts and ends with : which needs to be part of what you put into your message (if you're doing it manually).

This problem with Firefox and Safari -- plus how the recently-posted topics box is so huge when using Safari on iPhone to view the Disney Echo forums pages, means I need to do a major overhaul of how these pages' structure is set up. I'll do it! But I don't know how long it will take me...

Whenever I click on "see all" the complete menut of MickEmoticons (with the monorail, etc.) doesn't come up. They're not being blocked. I am currently using Firefox. Would they open in Explorer? Are they no longer accessible? Just wondering. Thanks, Rich!

Oh, and one other thing. In my countdown I have /BLUE but the countdown description is still coming out green. Any particular reason? (I don't really care, but I'm curious.)

Your countdown clock is now blue, after I deleted the ! you had in your countdown code.

Firefix and Safari are blocking the popup window displaying all clickable MickEmoticons. Other web browsers such as Internet Explorer allow this feature to work as intended.

See my reply above for how to see all MickEmoticons if your browser isn't letting you use the popup window for a link to how you can see all of them as well as what to manually type into your message if you can't use the clickable ones.

Didn't mean to make more work for you, Rich. (You're still up, like me! ) I suspected it was Firefox. Overall I like it but it is definitely quirky. My husband, a geek (in a positive, self-termed sense) who does a lot of web work too really likes Firefox and was one of its earliest users. I myself don't have a big problem with Explorer since there are some sites that just don't like Firefox at all and that presents more problems for me. Seems so silly to be asking about this, but the MickEmoticons are such a lot of fun, aren't they?

I wish I had a better solution for you. Since he knows webpage design, maybe your husband could give me some tips on how to make the window pop up with clickable MickEmoticons like it works in Explorer.
