There's a fan site for every purpose and niche...

TV Kirby maintains a fan site for upcoming TV shows about Disney theme parks.

If you always want to know what's on or about to come on, so you can program your VCR or DVR, bookmark the site and check it every week or so:

http://www.bartlett-sloan.net/tv/agenda.php3?modeagenda=soon

If you have satellite TV or with digital video recording options such as TiVo:  Program your "Wish List" or similar search function for Disney.  The shows TV Kirby lists, and different ones, will pop up.  Be sure to regularly manage your To Do (upcoming shows to be recorded) to make sure these are what you truly want, weed out the ones you don't, and once recorded check the newly recorded list to also weed out the ones you've already viewed aka "reruns".

Happy Disney viewing!

Thank you to TV Kirby for performing such a dedicated service to Disney fans!  It's very appreciated, thank you!

Thanks for the tip about the Fear show on the Science channel not having any Disney content.

I've pulled it from the listings.

I've also put Disney Echo back in my "favorites" bookmarks. I recently had a hard drive crash and ended up losing the bookmark, so I have not been checking this site as much as I should.

I'll be around more now.

TV Kirby maintains a fan site for upcoming TV shows about Disney theme parks and cruise line.  His website has current TV listings, whereas it's been weeks since he posted on Disney Echo

Happy Disney viewing!

Thank you to TV Kirby for performing such a dedicated service to Disney fans!  It's very appreciated, thank you!

The last time TV Kirby posted about Disney Theme Park TV Shows was for the week of August 4, 2014.

We have long communicated, since 2011, in a Topic called "Disney Echo Returnees : Read This Topic" that Disney Echo was losing members, even the most dedicated members were opting for social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. In 2014 so few return, likely in response to the "Disney Echo Returnees : Read This Topic" info and suggestions that Disney Echo as formerly active members always knew it is dormant.  The slow down was noticed in 2010-2011 so it's a process that isn't new and coincides with the popularity of social media sites.

For those of you who are too busy or too distracted or too non-technical to program a DVR or a TiVo to look for keywords that mean a show about that is coming up (On TiVo it's called Wish List, on DirecTV DVR it's called Search & Browse and you find that on the Menu button on your remote control) .....

Here is TV Kirby's website, where he is continuing to post Disney parks-themed TV show listings.

http://www.bartlett-sloan.net/tv/agenda.php3?modeagenda=soon

Bookmark this website and check it weekly, that is how often TV Kirby posts the information.

TV Kirby, we at Disney Echo want to gratefully thank you for your dedication and diligence and Disney fanship for years for Disney Echo members.  Thank you for regularly posting your listings here.

Indeed our site and many of the Topics get clicked... you can tell by comparing in each Forum's Topic Index what Topics get how many looks, and each week there are several new ones for each Topic here.  The sad reality aspect of it though is those clicks might be Disney fan guests or former members checking if there are new Disney theme park listings.... Or spammers attempting to log on and post links to porn, Viagra or Cialis websites, Dr. Oz weight loss products, thigh creams, scam websites, or people posing as folks from Facebook inviting you to Friend them and it's porn instead.

With the lack of activity on Disney Echo since 2011 we can call it "dormant" and increasingly outdated as of 2014.  The true owner, Larry Gensch, doesn't want to take the site down however.  Rich Koster, Site Admin, and I as his wife-assistant have pretty much stopped all actions to keep this site newsy, updated, relevant, useful, social.

If you want TV listings about Disney theme parks, the following are suggestions.

1.  Regularly check TV Kirby's website, above.  Weekly is good.  Then if something is new and interesting, just tell your DVR or TiVo about it and arrange ahead of time to record it.

2.  You can also find Disney TV listings by programming TiVo's Wish List with keyword "Disney" or DirecTV's "Search & Browse".  Ask your cable system, satellite system, or TiVo customer service or owners manuals if you don't understand how your DVR or TiVo works.  Searching this way the system will remember your search term, so you can always go back and keep checking for shows.  On a DVR or TiVo you can find shows airing within the next two weeks.

3.  There are a lot of online TV listings services. Your cable or satellite service provider has online listings at their website, and may have a "search" function to use keywords like Disney to find shows.  TiVo also has an online listings service anyone can use even if you don't own a TiVo device.  Just look for program listings, enter your zip code and provider (a cable TV system, satellite system) and a keyword like Disney.  It also shows listings for the next two weeks.  Other options include the website Zap2It and maybe TV Guide online, and more.

4.  If you are savvy about sites such as iTunes, Netflix, Hulu and others where you watch TV shows online, then use keyword Disney or Disneyland or Walt Disney World or Disney Cruise Line and exact titles of attractions or movies and watch online that way.

Probably most straggling infrequent former members have heard and seen that Disney Echo is practically dormant now.

If you are only now finding this info out....

Click here and then go to final page for most recent update at "Disney Echo Returnees :  Read this Topic".  It explains our site's status, how it go this way, and offers sure-fire 100% reliable suggestions for getting Disney news, info, travel guidance, social community, pointers for where to find anything re: Disney.  In this way the advice offered at this link is in fact Disney Echo continuing to sere it's members and guests.

http://new.disneyecho.emuck.com/cgi-bin....t=17661

Disney Echo is NOT being kept updated or maintained, it isn't newsy anymore, people have left the site.  It should be considered dormant and dated.  The true owner doesn't want to discontinue the site.  Maybe someday the less logging on that happens by anybody maybe Larry Gensch will see the light and finally pull the plug on a website the former members don't utilize anymore.

Until then, and for the present:  The various suggestions in this Topic and within "Disney Echo Returnees : Read This Topic" will help you greatly. So I urge guests and infrequently returning members to check it all out and bookmark what works best.

Thank you TV Kirby.... :clapping:    :clapping:

And to our members, guests, people wanting TV listings about Disney.... follow the suggestions offered above, definitely patronize TV Kirby's fan site, or learn how your TiVo and DVR work to find shows especially Disney ones.

Thanks for stopping by, and again thanks to TV Kirby !    :computer:  :waver:  :pixiedust:  :hearts:

Hi, Folks!

Just a reminder, and bumping up this Topic to keep it current in the Topics compiler scroll box.....

1. Read the posting in this Topic dated Aug. 24, 2014.

2.  Go to TV Kirby's website to see his ongoing postings on Disney and Disney Theme Parks-related shows, and program your DVR or TiVo accordingly.

3.  TV Kirby still posts here, but it seems like less frequently.  See # 2.

4.  Fewer shows air about Disney parks and it seems like what does air str old reruns rerunning again and again and again, lately on Destination America channel and reruns of old 1990s ABC sitcoms on other channels.  Don't be lulled into complacency about the reruns on Destination America!  Sometimes Disney does ask the production companies to update these shows after major changes are announced and implemented in the parks and Disney Cruise Line. Plus Disney takes advantage of the re-airing of these shows to promote themselves in new ways, sometimes within what normally would be two-minute commercial breaks.  Every once in awhile do record some of these seeming-like-reruns on Destination America.... you might be pleasantly surprised at a little new content being thrown in!

5.  Learn how to program and check frequently your DVR or TiVo for "Disney" shows or "Walt Disney World" or "Disneyland" or "Disney Cruise Line" or "Anaheim" or "Orlando" or "water parks" or "theme parks" or "amusement parks" or "cruise ships", then record what seems new or interesting.

6.  You can go on TiVo's website, program in your cable or satellite provider and zip code and keyword "Disney" and look up shows that way even if you are not a TiVo device owner or subscriber.

7.  Disney knows fewer people watch TV, cable or satellite nowadays in our age of mobile electronic devices, YouTube and Hulu and iTunes and similar sites where you download program content and watch it on your time table, not some network's timetable.  That could explain how in olden days Travel Channel, Food Network and History Channel used to have Disney parks shows all the time and new shows every year, but no longer do.  Consequently there just may be less for TV Kirby to promote vs. "olden days".  Have to be 'net savvy to find videos online now, or receive news feed video promos via Facebook and Twitter from official Disney sources.

8.  As described in the Aug. 24, 2014 posting and in their own Topics you'll see in the Topic scroll box, Disney Echo in our modern social media era has become defunct due to formerly active members and moderators have stopped keeping up their presence here and have migrated out to other social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).  Follow advice listed in the Aug. 24, 2014 listing in this Topic.  Or click this link... read most posts and follow suggestions to sources for active Disney online social community and sources of reliable Disney travel news, info and travel advice:

http://new.disneyecho.emuck.com/cgi-bin....t=17661

9.  As always thanks so much to TV Kirby for his contributions and dedication to the online Disney fan community and Disney Echo by looking up shows on TV about Disney and Disney Parks and Cruise Line.  There's a way to E-mail or contact TV Kirby, offer him some thanks and feedback by visiting his website and using the Contact information there and in his .signature in postings here.  Don't Private Message him here... he really mainly just drives by, posts, is gone again.  If TV Kirby ever stopped, however, we simply refer you to learn how to program your TiVo and DVR to "search" for "Disney" and similar theme park and cruise line related shows, and just keep checking.

10.  Thanks for visiting and reading this and stopping by our website. :waver:

If you're wanting to watch Disney Parks on TV above you can find out about monitoring TV Kirby's fan website or get advice for programming your DVR or TiVo to hunt for "Disney" key word shows, or how to look up such show listings on TiVo's own website even if you don't own a TiVo or subscribe to it's services.

We are always appreciating the contributions TV Kirby makes to the online Disney fan community by hunting up Disney show listings and posting them around online, including here on Disney Echo.  Thanks, TVKirby!    :DonaldGreeting:

The next big "new" Disney Parks kind of a show is very likely going to be the annual Christmas morning ABC 2-hours show Dec. 25, 2014.  Otherwise mostly look on cable-satellite channel Destination America. Disney Parks and Cruise Line shows mostly air there, updates of old Travel Channel shows.  Yes, they are updated!

Learn how to program your TiVo or DVR for keywords, such as Disney, Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, water parks, theme parks, Anaheim, Orlando, cruise ships.  Check your DVR or TiVo once or twice a week, then arrange to record any shows that look good.  Usually DVR's and TiVo can spot shows coming up that match your keyword up to a week and a half to two weeks in advance... but sometimes networks do add shows abruptly.  Checking once or twice a week usually can spot those.

You can go to TiVo.com, even if you don't own one and are not a subscriber, poke around it's programming section, enter in your zip code and cable or satellite service provider, then your desired keywords, and come up with the next two weeks worth of any Disney or other Disney-related keywords you enter.  If any shows are coming up just arrange to record them.

Happy Disney viewing!

PS:  Since around 2010-2011 Disney Echo is no longer as active as it once was.  Since those years activity here started a down trend from a prior peak.  The Hot Topics Scroll Box (oval Topics button at top of this page towards the left hand side) once had a date ranges of newest to oldest Topics of about a month to 6-weeks.  Today its 15 months oldest to newest Topics.

This link is to a Topic "DISNEY ECHO RETURNEES :  READ THIS TOPIC" and contains an explanation for Disney Echo's slow down of activity, our gratitude to all who participated when it was active, and several viable suggestions for alternative websites to get Disney news, info, travel advice and more, where there is active social community and active admin and staff to keep it Pixie Dusted and friendly atmosphere and practically useful and up to date.  Follow the suggestions.  You'll be helped greatly.

http://new.disneyecho.emuck.com/cgi-bin....t=17661

And visit TV Kirby's own website for Disney shows listings, or learn to program your DVR or TiVo about that (scroll back in this Topic).

And again many thanks to TV Kirby!    :clapping:

I haven't gone anyplace. Real life has intruded for the past few months. I am shifting my research and posting dates to try to keep things updated regularly.

Actual updates to the web page will appear on Thursday evenings. I try to keep 2 weeks worth of listings available.

I will post the full text update here of the next week's worth of listings on Sunday or Monday evenings.
