Our website, Disney Echo, was down for a few days recently, then when it was back up it was set somehow that nobody could post anything (new topics, replies, etc.).  Today is the first day I can tell that the site is returned to be interactive again.  People can post now !

This may have inadvertently "locked out" TV Kirby from being able to post TV listings about Disney shows.

Since the site owner Larry "lar3ry" Gensch has the computer that operates Disney Echo in an attic of his house in New Hampshire, and Rich Koster the Site Admin and I no longer maintain it but live in Louisiana, and since hardly anyone visits or posts to this site anymore anyway, it might mean these occasional glitches of a tech nature will happen from time to time and no one notices it.  So few people post anymore, and the info on our site is outdated more and more, that it's a low priority in life to notify lar3ry to reboot or tweak or see to it.  We live across the US from each other so it's not something we literally can put hands on and fix, either.

Apologies to TV Kirby and anyone who relies on his Disney-related listings for the inconvenience and hassle the glitch and downtime have caused.

It's time, though, to realize and see our site as it really is, that our site isn't what it used to be... Just scroll up and read about that in an earlier posting in this topic.  Now we know that technical problems can and do happen and prevent the usual and customary services Disney Echo used to provide, through no one's fault.  It happens.

For people who rely on TV Kirby's listings, there is always his own web site to visit if you can't read his listings here. We know he gets busy times in life so also start relying on learning how your cable-satellite DVR or TiVo work, or online TV listings websites you can "search".

Again, sorry for the inconvenience.

TV Kirby posts only a week's worth of Disney Parks' related shows at a time, but in recent months he tends to post only every couple of weeks.  There are job and family things going on for him offline.

Most shows that air are reruns, a few updated in the last year or two, but still even those rerun frequently.

Look for streaming content or program your TiVo or DVR to search for keyword Disney .  Weekly check your keyword search, and record anything that comes up that may interest you.  You can program search on DVR's and TiVo's and find results about 10-14 days in advance of any shows that air, sometimes there can be new pop up programs on a day or two notice, so check weekly and you'll be nearly sure to catch any Disney or Parks shows that are scheduled.

There's a fan site for every purpose and niche...

TV Kirby maintains a fan site for upcoming TV shows about Disney theme parks.

If you always want to know what's on or about to come on, so you can program your VCR or DVR, bookmark the site and check it every week or so:

http://www.bartlett-sloan.net/tv/agenda.php3?modeagenda=soon

If you have satellite TV or with digital video recording options such as TiVo:  Program your "Wish List" or similar search function for Disney.  The shows TV Kirby lists, and different ones, will pop up.  Be sure to regularly manage your To Do (upcoming shows to be recorded) to make sure these are what you truly want, weed out the ones you don't, and once recorded check the newly recorded list to also weed out the ones you've already viewed aka "reruns".

Happy Disney viewing!

Thank you to TV Kirby for performing such a dedicated service to Disney fans!  It's very appreciated, thank you!

In addition you can use TiVo.com's listing service to enter in your provider and time zone and keyword "Disney" and just search for shows yourself, or program our TiVo or DVR with keyword "Disney" or "Disneyland" "Walt Disney World" and find shows on your own, listings online searched for this way are listed on a rolling 10-14 days in advance.  Not hard to look these up yourself.

Also every two months write yourself a note to visit Turner Classic Movies website for "Treasures from the Disney Vault" marathon blocks of old-time Disney cartoons, shows, programming.

Disney classic movies and classic cartoons fans:  "Treasures From the Disney Vault" is scheduled for Thursday, July 2, 2015 on cable-satellite channel Turner Classic Movies.  Click at the link, there is a menu to use to adjust the schedule according to your time zone, what's at the link is Eastern Daylight Time.  Tell your DVR or TiVo about it if you want to set those to record now, it's 9-hours, 15-minutes of programming.  Or write yourself a note to tune in.
