Hello Wide and Wonderful Walt Disney Co. Community!

I am a multi talented individual with a sincere passion for themed, story based entertainment.

I have over ten years of experience in the field, and have always hoped that I could, perhaps, just one day, make my mark at a Disney property.

I have kept current with company happenings through the internet, and theme parks.

It is a joy for me to visit often, and watch how the company is remaining cutting edge with it's growth and expansion.

My select skills list - graphic design, motion graphics, motion picture editing, photography, audio, writing, etc..

FOR MORE, please visit

Thank you so much, and may the magic be with you!

Um, actually we're a non-affiliated independent fan site about Disney.  We don't hire for any part of The Walt Disney Company, Walt Disney Feature Animation, or Pixar or other parts of the company such as home video direct to video, computer-related games or online games, mobile device game applications or web design.  We also do not hire on behalf of their second and third party subcontractors or affiliates or partners.  Just a fan site, that's all.  Disney doesn't own or operate this website.

We sympathize with wanting to work for them, though.

Have you directly contacted divisions within Disney which would have posted on their websites any job openings they have plus their recommended (sometimes required) ways of applying for employment?

It might get you more results than posting on a mom-and-pop ol' fan site.

You posted here late last year also about wanting to work for Disney.  Did any of it work out for you?  Did anything our site offered to you about that situation work out for you?

Good luck, I hope you reach your goals.

Yes, "welcome aboard" (since you joined way back in August 2004) and continued good wishes on your desire to work for Disney again, Daniel.

Daniel's been a member since 2004, and likes Disney Imagineering since then.  I hope it works out for you, Daniel.   :pixiedust:

Try networking with professional organizations, SIGGRAPH is an annual convention in LA of computer graphics professionals many of whom work in the CGI movie business including Disney, DreamWorks and Fox and other movie studios.  Try the guilds aka labor unions and professional organizations in the movie business, their websites, the members-only parts of them do offer job listings and opportunities for both conferencing and professional ongoing training and networking, means you join their guild and pay professional dues to it, but your gain is that you might land a good job out of it by being in the right place at the right time. Or professional organizations in theme park engineering and design.  Google can help.  You might want to see if SIGGRAPH this year is sold out yet or not, and if there's a chance to join real quick and plan to attend.  These professional organizations are more likely to post quality job openings among a set of professionals they'd like to recruit from.  At least you'd gain insights and make contacts with those who do hiring or learn what various corporations are looking for in a candidate, then make those insights work for you.

"What Color is Your Parachute?" is the approximate name of a very good holistic job searching techniques book.  It might be of help to you or anyone seeking not just a job but a good job and a meaningful fulfilling career with a high quality employer, no matter what the economic times are now.  There are job openings and employers seeking to fill them, so it's a matter of finding that particular job opening and selling yourself.  That book can help.

Nice website you have!

But why'd you post a Topic Subject: line with a question mark and an exclamation mark at the end of it?  Don't you believe it yourself yet?

Good luck with your website and job search, with a site like that you're sure to generate some inquiries!   :pixiedust:
