That sounds exciting Barbara! I will send you an email about how we did our Disney wedding without all of the hoopla. It would be too long for a post.

Barbara, it sounds like a Disney Intimate Vow Renewal would be perfect for your daughter.

Here's the basic run-down of how it works.  From Disney's perspective, weddings and vow renewals are the same, so you would have the same things included in your package as a wedding.

Intimates are perfect for smaller guests lists--they have a maximum guest count of 20 people, including the bride and groom.  You have a ceremony at your chosen location, then you have a cake and champagne toast.  Some Intimate brides choose to then make a reservation at a Disney restaurant for their guests, but that would not be included in your Intimate wedding package cost.

There are currently 5 locations you can choose from for Intimate events: the Wedding Pavilion, Sunset Pointe at the Polynesian, the Wedding Gazebo at the Yacht Club, Sea Breeze Point at the BoardWalk, and Sunrise Terrace at the Wilderness Lodge.  They are all beautiful locations!  The Wedding Pavilion is the only indoor location, but Disney does have backup locations in case of rain.

Intimate weddings at the Wedding Pavilion start at $3650 plus tax, which includes an organist and a solo violinist for the ceremony.  The other ceremony locations start at $2450 plus tax and include a solo violinist.

In addition to the cost of the Intimate vow renewal, the bride must book a stay of at least 4 nights at a Disney resort.  You're free to choose whichever resort you'd like from a value resort up to a deluxe resort.

The Intimate vow renewal package includes the following:
-Ceremony/cake cutting location
-Bouquet for the bride and boutonniere for the groom
-Two-tiered wedding cake with keepsake cake topper
-One bottle of Fairy Tale Cuvee for the toast
-Violinist (the Wedding Pavilion also includes an organist for the higher cost)
-4 hour limo charter for your wedding day
-Disney photographer to take pictures for 2 hours
-Photo album with up to 20 pictures as well as contact sheet of all pictures taken of your event
-Intimate Wedding Coordinator to help you plan your event
-Personalized wedding website
-Disney Fairy Tale Weddings wedding certificate

You can also purchase additional things like characters, Cinderella's Coach, additional champagne, etc. for an additional cost.

One of the best ways to get started is to visit and look over what the package includes.  You can then start a Wishbook to select items you'd like to include.

I hope that helps you get started!  Disney weddings are so magical!
