Aloha, Disney EchoEars!

Whether you are doing a normal check-in in the Great Ceremonial House lobby, a check-in for Club Level in the Hawaii longhouse, or the new advanced check-in (see below), this is the topic for all frequently-asked questions, answers, and tips about checking in at Disney's Polynesian Resort.

Disney EchoEar Susan / Eponine passed along this tip on Nov. 16, 2006:

For guests arriving from November 30th through December 31, 2006, The Polynesian is testing advanced check in. Call 407-828-7120 between 6 am and midnight.

The information they are obtaining are names, address, phone number, type of credit card. This is to eliminate this step at check in to make things go quicker.

Everyone in our party did when we stayed concierge last year--they were artificial flowers, but fun to receive and display in the room.

Just get on any major highway, and eventually it will dead-end in a Disney parking area large enough to have its own climate, populated by large nomadic families who have been trying to find their cars since the Carter administration.

I never received one, but I only ever stayed in non-concierge. Never even heard of it before coming to the Echo.

We stayed non-concierge this past October, and received our leis when we checked in at the front desk. Everyone checking in was getting them.

Later in the week I had to stop by guest services to pay the rest of our fridge rental, and was able to get a couple extra to take back home as a surprise for my 2 nieces.

I've heard that everyone should get them.  Confirmed that w/our CM who booked us.  If you don't get one at check-in....ask.

Hi Everyone.  Does anyone know if you are staying Poly concierge if you can check in early?  Our plane arrives at 11a.m, so we will likely arrive at the hotel at 12. Thanks for the replies....

Yoo Hoo and aloha, Karen!

It's good to see you using the cdnliving version of your log-in instead of the cdnliving2 one. I'm glad everything's working for you now.

You can check in that early, but it doesn't mean your room will be ready at that time.

Sometimes the rooms are ready early but if not they will watch your bags and off you go.

Aloha
