There's word out there Disney-Pixar will be 3-D-izing their older films and rereleasing them to theaters.  "The Lion King" was so adapted and rereleased in Fall 2011 and made some money!   :dollar:

January 13, 2012 it will be "Beauty and the Beast" getting the 3-d rerelease treatment.

The one after that will be Pixar's "Finding Nemo", coming to theaters in 3-D style "for a limited engagement" in September 2012.

In 3-D I bet "Finding Nemo" would look very cool, like actually being in an aquarium or ocean with the characters.  Last fall the rerelease in 3-D of "The Lion King" actually was a very very lucrative endeavor for Disney, made a LOT of money.  That's probably what's going on..... Excellent hit movie audiences are already familiar with, give it the 3-D treatment to make it different, but it's still the same great movie.  Rake in the money!

It was last in theaters in 2003, in September 2012 that will be 9+ years ago.

I don't know an exact release date, folks, but if you're interested pencil in "Finding Nemo in 3-D September 2012" on your new 2012 calendars and just keep a weather eye out for it when the time comes.  Probably Google-able, the date.
