Apparently maybe "out": "Princess look" bridal dresses with a full ballgown skirt and "poufy". Disney has a whole line of princess-themed designer wedding dresses. The real princess Kate Middleton Windsor/Duchess of Cambridge wore something more like Grace Kelly than Cinderella... Reality check, aspiring princess brides.....

http://www.cnn.com/2011....?hpt=T1

Just go through this Disney Weddings Forum and there are links to Disney bridal gowns.

So the Poll is whether or not in light of The Royal Wedding dress of April 29, 2011 in London if Disney ought to take a fast look at their designer wedding gowns, especially those inspired by their many Princesses, and rethink, redesign, reimagine.

Responses are yes, no, maybe, Disney doesn't need to change anything but should think about adding on a new line of dresses to reflect fashion trends, don't know or don't care, any other answer.

You have to actually cast a Vote in order to see others' responses.  If you click Null Vote in order to peek at how others vote you in fact nuke your ability to vote at all.  That's how the software and operating system of these Polls work.  So "vote" then you can see how others voted.

Feel free to put in a Reply with your 2-cents worth, too.

It's helpful to check the look of Kate Middleton Windsor's dress before voting and then explore existing links in this Topic to survey what Disney's own bridal designer gowns look like before voting.

I think part of the fascination with The Royal Wedding is to see a 2011 interpretation of what a "real" "princess bridal gown" ought to look like.  And what it looks like is classic but with contemporary touches and is sophisticated and romantic.  Closer to Grace Kelly of Monaco than anything else.

Hmmm.....

Better to have Disney and designers take a look and add to their existing line with somewhat look-a-like gowns to Kate Middleton Windsor's.  That way people wanting "Cinderella"-looks can get it, and people wanting Kate Middleton looks can get it.  Disney making money off of both.   :eyebrow:  :pixiedust:
