We attended a vow renewal at The Boardwalk in June the attention to detail by the Disney staff was unbeliveable We were staying at fort Wilderness and traveled by Disney bus to MGM to catch a boat to go to the ceremony at the Boardwalk when the "groom" who was renewing his vows called in a panic just took the suit off of the hanger and no pants.

Michael the bus driver from Ft. Wilderness to MGM listed to our plight about getting back to Ft. Wilderness to get my Husbands pants for the groom to wear and be back in time for the ceremony. He with the consent of the other guests took us right to our campsite so we could get the pants and make the ceremony on time.

The ceremony was beautiful celebrating 40 years of magic and if not for Michael the bus driver would have been in skivies.  thank you Michael the bus driver

It was our vow renewal and we would also like to thank Michael for helping the groom retrieve a pair of pants.  The wedding would not have been as special with the groom in shorts and me in a wedding gown.  Thanks to Ernie for the use of his extra pants.  Thanks to Disney for making this a Magical Moment, now we can look forward to the next forty years.

Congratulations, Regina, and thank you, Jerrie, for sharing this with us!

I've moved this from a topic about the BoardWalk Inn Concierge into this new topic about having a vow renewal at Disney's BoardWalk.

Oh my goodness--that would've been something--a groom with no pants!

I'm glad Disney was able to come through for you on your vow renewal day!

Do you have pictures?  The BoardWalk is such a pretty resort!
