Yoo Hoo, Disney EchoEars!

If you scroll down, you'll notice we show  Amazon.com as a sponsor of the Disney Echo. Each time anyone goes to Amazon.com through a link here on the Disney Echo, any orders made during that session help the Echo.

If anyone has a favorite Disney-related business or service you use and think is worthy of the high-quality sponsors we have offered here on the Disney Echo, I'd appreciate if you'd suggest to them to look into sponsoring an add here.

But don't worry, whether we have sponsors or not the Disney Echo isn't going anywhere and there isn't even a need to resort to Pay-Pal membership drives like you see on some other Disney fan-based websites. We'll still be here and "through the years we'll all be friends..." as the Mouseketeers used to sing.
:mickey :minnie:

I'm happy to add the Disney Ink Shop at Zazzle.com as another fine sponsor of the Disney Echo.

Disney Ink Shop

Zazzle has the largest online collection of customizable Disney digital images (and other images, too) as well as easy-to-use tools to help your imagination soar, sharing and celebrating your Disney interests and passions as you create clothing, posters, cards, stamps and more with your favorite Disney Characters.

And you'll be helping out the Disney Echo with every purchase you make at the Disney Ink Shop after clicking this link or any of the banners for it here or the one at the bottom of this page.

Yoo Hoo, Disney EchoEars!

If you scroll down, you'll notice we show  Amazon.com as a sponsor of the Disney Echo. Each time anyone goes to Amazon.com through a link here on the Disney Echo, any orders made during that session help the Echo.

If you are a past registered member of Disney Echo website on a random "checking it out" logged-on visit, or if you are a Guest who found this site by web surfing...

At one time we had an active specialized link from Disney Echo to Amazon . com.  It was an incentive program then-new Amazon had to bring shoppers to their site.  Since Disney fans can also be Disney shoppers (videos, records, DVDs, books, CDs, travel guide books to Disney, etc.), or shoppers for anything, it was a convenient way to pick something up while you visited our site.  Amazon offered back to participants in the referral incentive program small checks.  Popular way to attempt to fund-raise by non-profits. We used the program to defray administrative time and expense running and managing this site.  It never made very much money for Disney Echo, but even a few bucks sometimes is useful to offset costs.

Around 2009-2011 we first noticed decreased activity on Disney Echo coinciding with the rise of social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc.  The Amazon . com referral incentive link remained active for a long time !

However: Change is inevitable.

Years after 2009-2011:  When it became very clear registered members on our site were decreasing activity here to the point of being near totally "gone", Rich contacted Amazon . com to end Disney Echo's participation in their referral incentive program.

Over 2016's Memorial Day weekend Amazon . com got in touch with Rich and confirmed Disney Echo was no longer participating in the Amazon referral incentive program.

Bottom line that matters to you, the reader :

It means all the Amazon . com link on the bottom of this page does is simply take you to that site.  Purchases made through the Disney Echo specially coded link to Amazon . com do not "help" Disney Echo any more.  All that's over now.

Thanks    for your past active membership in Disney Echo and for any past purchases you may have made in the past through the Disney Echo link to Amazon . com .   It was kind of you.  Genuinely your participation here and purchases through that link did in fact "help" Disney Echo.  Thanks !

In the Second Posting in this Topic are mentioned "partnerships" with Zazzle . com and Disney Ink Shop .  We have never received any income from those two links.  Probably due to aging and time passage as of 2016 those sites wouldn't know who or what "Disney Echo" the heck is anymore !   I don't know if Disney Ink Shop still exists but I know Zazzle does.  Visit those if you want to and not out of any motivation to "help" Disney Echo defray operation costs.

It was all fun while it lasted!  The main consistent thing about anything Internet related as time goes by is "change".  Fond to remember better times, but realistic to put it all behind and move along in life now.

By the way, yes Disney Echo is a ghost town these days.  If this is news to you scroll up and click on "Topics" grey button and there are obviously titled Topics about that decline and where to go from here.  This link is to just one of those Topics.  Find the last page for the most recent info, or the first home page to see how far back in time our site's decline has gone on.  Follow any and all suggestions for sure fire Disney news, info, travel advice and social community.  Good luck !

Many thanks !     :hearts:  :waver:
