For some reason on a social media platform I checked for Private Messages and for some reason there were four that I never got a Notification about !  And one of the four was dated July 2014 (a year ago ! ) and was Disney Echo-related.

The person was surfing the Internet looking for a syndicated annual radio show that usually aired on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day on local radio stations.  It had voices of Disney characters, and a celebrity, talking about Disney, new attractions at WDW and Disneyland, new movies families could look forward to, chit-chat about seasonal things, and leading into and out of traditional pop Christmas music and Christian Carols of the season.  Lasted three hours.  Aired form sometime in the 1990's through the 2000's then it stopped being produced and syndicated.  He found in his online searching for this show and hoping for recordings the Disney Echo and that I promoted listening to it each year.  Did I know where recordings are online?  Or if I had any recordings to duplicate and send to him?

1.  I referred him to Disney collector clubs The Disneyana Fan Club especially their chapters at Anaheim CA and Orlando FL and annual July convention and memorabilia show and sale in Anaheim CA, and their newsletter that features classified ads for members (this used to be called The National Fantasy Fan Club, The Club for Disneyana Enthusiasts ...  Look it up online or on Facebook ), and D23 and some Disney fan sites such as AllEarsNet.com, MiceAge or MiceChat, The DIS Boards, the Facebook pages of The Walt Disney Family Museum and some other places to go look and inquire of.  So I answered him a year later.  Hope my answer helped.  I can't explain why I don't get PM Notifications... glitches maybe.

2.  But most importantly for him as a visitor and for *** YOU *** as a visitor :  Disney Echo used to be very lively as a place to log onto.  But in 2009, 2010, definitely 2011 as mobile smart devices with Internet access and Apps rose, and as social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and other similar places rose, Disney Echo as a "mom and pop Disney fan labor of love" declined in active use.  In 2011 I saw the handwriting on the wall and began a "Disney Echo Returnees :  Read This Topic !" post I periodically keep bumped up in the Topics button index (see grey buttons horizontally at the very top of this page.)  You might take a look at that one..... Just trying to get he word out.

3.  This site is NOT maintained, staffed or populated anymore.  Defunct.  Deserted.  Fini.  If you attempt to post it's locked out for years for security reasons (no annoying spammers and scammers post here for that reason ! ).

4.  If you read around, look at date and time on each post.  you'll think the place is or was friendly and helpful... It was... but some of these posts are as old as the hills and twice as dusty.  Meaning the "facts" or "helpfulness" is dated as well.  Disney is advancing technologically and opening and closing attractions all the time and moving forward and making changes all the time.  This site began not keeping up 2009-2011 or so.  Get a clue, we're dated and getting more so daily.

5.  In the Topics Button (Top of this page, five grey buttons, one says "Topics", click it) is a Topic "Disney Echo Returnees -- Read This Topic".  Within it are suggestions for alternatives to this place for news, info, and social chat and activity online.  Read the most recent posts in that Topic.  Follow any and all suggestions.  They will help you.  Trust me !

6.  For collecting :  Try The Disneyana Fan Club and join it, it has chapters all over the US, maybe one near you, and an annual Convention to attend, and a newsletter with classified ads that you can list (as a paid member) anything you want to find, sell, trade, or swap or ask about of a collectible nature.  The guy up above looking for recordings of Disney Christmas radio shows?  He's a collector even if he may not realize it.  Find that fan club's website, join, get the newsletter, go to their annual convention.  Also join D23, Disney's own fan club, and attend their events, and ask ask ask there.

7.  Sometimes you have to tweak your keywords.  And you might still come up empty.  Sorry, that happens.  Or people not willing to help.

8. I've worked as a helpful Disney fan online since the late 1980s when computer networks began!  I've seen a lot, helped many.  After literally decades, I want to kick back now.  So does my husband.  Retirement not from real life jobs or aspects of child-rearing but from active maintanance of a Disney fan site.  There are other fan sites rising and successful.  Ask them, not me.  # 5 above has suggestions.  So does # 6.  If you find me on social media, we can say "Hi!" but I'll defer you to better known and active fan sites with staffs and active community instead.

9.  If you still come up bupkis, well, that happens.  Sometimes things are obscure, privately held, or rumors that are unverified with a press release making it official by Disney.  It happens.

10.  Go into a mellow Disney meditative state, and listen to Baloo sing "The Bare Necessities" from "Jungle Book", then to "Frozen's" "Let It Go".  Take the song lyrics to heart.  You win some and find what you want, and lose some and come up empty and it's frustrating.  Try the suggestions and referral's I offered earlier.  That IS me HELPING YOU as much as I can.  And if things don't work out, at least you tried, and maybe it wasn't meant to be.

God bless to you, happy Disney fanship, take care, thanks for cruising on in.

Since around 2009, 2010 and definitely 2011 it was noticed there was less logging on and posting activity here.  I started a Topic, this one, to let people know that was the case, it's being going on, periodically updated, since 2011.

I don't "blame" anyone or anyone's feelings for the decline.  Mostly I think it's a natural social migration on the Internet and with the rise of social media like Facebook and Twitter and Instagram and Pinterest and other similar places.  As well as the rise of effective smart phone and mobile device Apps that can connect you to park and Disney info better.  And the rise of fan-hosted podcasts which you can hear or subscribe to via iTunes Store and similar places.

Lagging visitors who may stumble on our site via search engine results or very lagging former members (they haven't logged on at all or much since 2009-2011 or sooner ) might not be aware of this site's status.

The site owner Larry Gensch chooses not to take down his computer, hard drive, Internet connection or is operating system since this site is in fact under used.  The "clicks" he might see are likely from overseas spammers wanting to post in forums about scam deals and porn sites.  It's his site and equipment and Internet connection... I have approached him to reiterate it's a waste of his time and resources anymore but he still won't take it down.  His decision, not me or my husband's as site admin.

My husband and I no longer update news or info on here.  Nor will Disney questions be timely answered.  So few ever log on anymore.  We've moved on, our formerly active and knowledgeable members or moderators log on, everyone has moved on since the 2009-2011 era forward.

This means if you have a Disney question, news or info it's as if you are looking for people in an empty, for lease or for sale, totally moved out store in a strip shopping center to interact with.  Good analogy.  Imagine a scenario like that, you probably know of closed stores in a formerly busy shopping center... Imagine that and how I just described.  You get the idea.

Probably best that you please do NOT post here anymore if you are a returning lagging former member.

***  Posting for the sake of posting if you are a registered member is NOT guaranteed to get you conversation or a response or Disney-related assistance or referrals.  See the analogy of the closed store in a declining shopping center analogy and posting something at the door of the closed store.  Good analogy.  *** Read on why it's dumb anymore to post.

Also our site is not maintained....  Nothing newsy to learn here.  All posts have date and times when someone posts.  Most of them are as old as the hills and twice as dusty.  Our Hot Topics Scroll Box "TOPICS" in the horizontal menu bar at the top of this page, have topics going back a year and a half or more.  Used to be when this place was livelier the oldest topic was only a mont old, now it's a year and a half older or older.  All info here is probably out of date but on a case to case basis maybe still works... maybe....  Basically to be safe :  Get a clue.  Disney Echo = Defunct .

Our site has been locked for years and years against new members attempting to join.  That's why you don't see spam ads or porn links anywhere in forums, new topics, or Comments on any existing topics.

Only registered members can log on and post, but with the site so dormant frankly what's the point in that anymore?

SUUGESTIONS FOR ALTERNATIVES !

Some suggestions instead where you can get sure-fire 100% Disney news, info, chat, social interaction, vacation planning chat and hand holding, etc.

--Any Disney theme park or Cruise Line guide book.  Suggestions :  The Unofficial Guides Disney series by Bob Sehlinger (Disneyland, Walt Disney World, etc.), Passporter (they have a website where you can order their books and chat in forums about Disney Cruise Line, Special Needs/Open Mouse, Disneyland and Walt Disney World ), Official Birnbaum Guides to WDW and Disneyland and Disney Cruise Line.

--News Media :  Orlando Sentinel online (In menu bar choose Travel, then choose Daily Disney), Orange County Register in California (horizontal menu bar will have "Disneyland") and Google News keyword searches.

--Disney.go.com : Disney's own official site for whatever they do. Disney Parks blog feeds, Disneyland and Walt Disney World feeds on social media.

--Fan Sites :  AllEarsNet.com by Deb Wills, MiceChat, Mouse Planet, The DIS Boards, Disney Food Blog.  Touring Plans.  Tours Departing Daily is a wonderful HDR professional photographers' fan site with beautifully crafted Disneyland photos that will take your breath away. Tikiman has Unofficial Tikiman Polynesian Resort fan pages on the web and on Facebook, look them up and ask to "Like" or "Follow". Andre Willey has a fan site about WDW's Port Orleans Resort.  The Feral Cats of Disneyland have various niche fan sites.  Disneyland solves it's mice and rodent problem nature's way.  Feral cats are trapped, spayed, neutered, then released back to the wild where they mostly stay hidden and keep the parks pest-free.  Disney feeds them and offers some shelters  in back stage areas so they are cared for humanely and yet are not tamed, if they need veterinary help and they are noticed Disney will trap them to get them care.  Tame ones are adopted out.  Yet Disney fans who also like cats have websites and Twitter feeds, where the cats are "named" and made-up fictional stories are posted what the cats think of human park visitors or or the rides or the weather or their backgrounds.  Park visitors will post photos.  If you approach the cats thinking you can pet one, it will run away from you because it is in wild state. Search for Feral Cats of Disneyland online, at social media.  TV Kirby still posts TV listings about Disney theme park shows coming up on TV and cable here on Disney Echo but it might be best you learn to program TiVo or DVR yourself with Disney-related keywords to look these up yourself, keep checking your Wish List or To-Do List and if anything is coming up that sounds worth watching, program your TiVo or DVR for it.  Quarterly Turner Classic Movies airs a marathon of classic Disney programming, check TCM listings carefully for "Treasures from the Disney Vault" umbrella title and be prepared to set your DVR or TiVo to record from 8 PM Eastern until around 5 AM the following morning when they air!  Leonard Maltin hosts.

--Where are they now?  Former member Andre Willey of the UK has his own fan site now about Disney's Port Orleans Resort.  And former member Melanie Ross FanOfWalt now writes for MiceChat.  Former members which operated Fort Wilderness or Disney Dining reservations calculators seem inactive anymore. MKBaughan and her close lady friends on this site are on Facebook as Marsha Baughan, Jiminy is on Facebook as Lisa Shoup.  Utilidor27 is on Facebook as Eric Van Winkle and is less a Disney fan, more into tae kwon do now.  We do have two Disney Echo pages or groups on Facebook, sometimes Rich and I post to them, sometimes we don't, depends how we feel.  When we do post it gets very little response.  Hollis Ambrose "EddieValiant" is an active Disney Vacation Club member and has developed Apps in iTunes for DVC members to use to manage their points and membership.  Carol Koster is sending her son off to college in 2015.  Rich Koster edits books for David Pogue's "iPhone and it's Operating Systems: The Missing Manual" series of books, still likes Disney, but no longer maintains this Site.

--Social Media :  Look for "Disney" and then read "About".  Official Disney feeds will have a Disney.go.com origin and seem official.  Specific theme park resorts or hotels or Disney films will also have "bona-fide" looking URLs.  The fan sites and media sites I mention above have legit Disney feeds with legit Disney info.  You can subscribe to The Daily Disney from Orlando Sentinel online for social media feeds.  Any Disney guidebook author or book, too.  Touring Plans is good to subscribe to.

--Podcasts :  It's just a "thing" about me but if I can surf around online and already read Disney news and info why would I need a weekly podcast to go blah-blah-blah about what I already know ?  If that's you, ignore them as I do.  If you want a reliable one:  Mousetalgia is what my husband listens to regularly as well as Those Darn Cats, by two ladies who talk Disney.

--Upcoming TV :  PBS on Sept. 14-15, 2015 a very special two part episode of "American Experience" is about Walt Disney and his life story !  Check PBS website and local listings for info.  I've heard you can already reserve a DVD copy of the show when the series has finished airing.  One-time only, probably not repeated or not repeated often write yourself a note to be sure to record on DVR or TiVo when the time comes !

--Collecting, collectibles, "What's This Worth?", fan clubs, merchandise :  D23, Disney's owned fan club with every two years conventions in August (there's one in 2015 and the next in 2017 ), and The Disneyana Fan Club with chapters all over the US and an annual Convention the middle of each July... Look online for their websites, chapter, and membership details and costs . )  For specific memorabilia valuations try the Tomart catalog, there is one specifically for last known valuations of Disneyana items.  For specific items like character memorabilia try Google Shopping or similar online merchandise search engine.  For purchasing theme park items before your trip try Disney Store . com and under their categories "Theme Parks", or if you have buyer's remorse and want to purchase what you saw in a specific store at WDW call WDW Merchandise Mail Order or Disneyland Guest Services or #DisneylandToday.  Joining or getting involved with D23 or Disneyana Fan Club as in actually showing up in person to a meeting or gathering of a chapter or convention of theirs is a _sure bet_ to begin the process of networking to find someone else who likes a character or bit of history or aspects of Disney that you do

--Niche questions, you're a niche fan of something Disney :  Spell all keyword searches accurately, try to use Disney's own titling for whatever it is (hotel, park attraction, restaurant, movie or show title, store, item, etc.).  Join D23 or/and Disneyana Fan Club or use their contact info to ask or be referred to someone who might know.

--Disney Family History or Walt's life story :  The Walt Disney Family Museum in the Presidio in San Francisco CA.  Join their non-profit museum to financially support them, also consider visiting and touring the museum sometime.  Look them up online.  Their support group on Facebook is Friends of The Walt Disney Family Museum, approach the administrator to be joined to the group to receive their feeds.  A museum is being started in Marceline MO where Walt Disney was born.  Carolwood Pacific Historic Society maintains Walt's real Train Barn at Griffith Park in Los Angeles and it's membership perpetuates Walt's fascination with trains.  Join them, visit the Barn !

--Disney Stock :  Stockholder relations at Disney.go.com and any financial-stock news entity like Wall Street Journal, Marketwatch.com, and Motley Fools.  The Disney stock ticker on New York Stock Exchange is DIS.  While you can own a single share of stock as a gift for a child, there is no stock perks (like freebies or discounts at parks or stores ) for stock holders of record.  Annually The Walt Disney Company has a Shareholder Meeting, held in various cities in the US, usually in March each year.  Only stockholders of record may attend, and the shareholder website will tell those stockholders how to let Disney know they are coming.  We attended in 2007 in New Orleans.  We got free Disney Enviornmentality coffee mugs and a change to ask Robert Iger, then Disney CEO, live questions in Q & A.  You can indeed meet Disney characters as well as Board members there, but cannot take photos, it's essentially a stockholder meeting and is adult-business in nature.  People do bring their children, though, to teach them about investing.  The Annual Shareholder Meeting audio is live-streamed online, however proprietary info is "blanked out" so if you want to hear those parts and you are a shareholder you have to attend the meeting in person.  Quarterly in early August, November, February and May Disney quarterly stock results are announced followed up with a conference call anyone can log onto the shareholder part of Disney.go.com to listen to, these are business-financial-stocks in nature and as a Disney fan a good way to learn how the company is doing and what could be on the horizon.

--Rumors and things that are convincingly PhotoShopped and Scams:  Rumors are speculation.  They might or might not come true.  That doesn't stop anyone from posting convincingly and wistfully.  Sometimes you might be lulled such talk and language is true and bona-fide!  Nope!  PhotoShop is so cleverly used nowadays that you might actually think a movie poster or artwork is genuine.  It's not !  People realize some fans and ga-ga people don't click links, read thoroughly, and are vastly under educated and under informed as to subject matter truth and history.  Don't be fooled !  Thoroughly read things, don't just skim headlines or text and assume you know it all.... You maybe DON'T !  Regarding anything Disney from news, theme park attractions to come, why they don't open this or that rumored attraction, or biographical history of Walt or of the Disney Company :  Truth is in bona-fide websites and bona-fide D23 and The Disneyana Fan Club and The Walt Disney Family Museum.  Truth is also in bona-fide news releases from Disney issued to bona-fide news media you've heard of.  Everything else is opinion, bloviatating, crap, nonsense, wishful thinking, speculation, posting to get noticed just to see what happens whether it's true or not.  Truth is also you or someone you trust well actually having seen something for themselves to verify.  And truth is in high quality book authors who write histories or biographies after having researched bona-fide Disney or Walt Disney Family sources.  You should learn to like and seek truth, not rumor or lies or twisting or speculation.  Seek "Truth" in what I cited, ignore everything else.  If you do online searches based on a rumor and don't see lots of references, you come up empty no matter how you play with the keywords, it's proof that the "rumor" isn't fact or isn't fact until a Disney press release and bona-fide news media reports it as fact.

--Legacy to carry with you of Disney Echo :  Be more like the diplomatic Mickey and less like the tantrumming Donald Duck.  Also listen to Thumper in "Bambi":  If you can't say, or post, or Comment, something nice (politely and kindly worded even if you are correcting facts or having a "lively" discussion and disagreeing with someone, it's your tone) then don't post or say or Comment anything at all."  Any Comments or Topics on any other website, fan site, social media feed, etc. you post, if you post like this, are sure-fire to be appreciated just because of the civil tone you convey !  Spread it around !

--Fond memories of a Disney Echo of the past:  Sometimes longtime, infrequent former members post to say, in this very Topic so scroll back and back for them, how much they miss it and miss the atmosphere here.  Kind of them!  We had a good thing going on a mom-and-pop fan site for awhile.  But social media and Apps and mobile smart devices being what they are, basically the wonderful people migrated out.  It is what it is.  Posting for the sake of posting won't revive the site.... I've tried, others have, like Dr. McCoy used to say in the original "Star Trek" TV show, "Jim.... It's dead !"  The proof of the pudding is when the former Moderators or frequent members stay away for years, maybe nostalgically return to post, once, then they stay away again.  But thanks for the nice things that are said and posted about how we handled the site and how others used to conduct themselves.  You best bet is to listen to a Disney fan Podcast or visit one of the fan sites above or join D23 or The Disneyana Fan Club or one of it's chapters, or attend D23 every two years conventions or Disneyana Fan Club annual conventions.  Or visit the Walt Disney Family Museum and its events.  The informed fans are kind and gentle and fun.  The idiots sometimes are the inflammatory argumentative contrarian ill-mannered ones.  Pray for them, treat them with kindness, then avoidance, when they are encountered.

--Rich Koster and other former Moderators or Site Admin rarely visit here.  I do mainly to let the laggard members know to move on now.  Site's defunct now.  Take it seriously.  Sad but true.  BUT the above IS our site helping you to help yourself, find yourself news, info, and new online Disney pals, and whatever you may want to know since our site can't do that anymore, it's old and outdated now.

Thanks for visiting, well-wishes, and well it's time to move on now!  Wishing you well and safety and God Bless and magical Disney Days for all you head towards from now on.

Sorry for typos, grammatical and spelling and capitalization and punctuation errors or for leaving anyone or any site or any App out.  The above at least will get you started!

Thanks for visiting, well-wishes, and well it's time to move on now!  Wishing you well and safety and God Bless and magical Disney Days for all you head towards from now on.

UPDATED 08/09/15: Amendments and changes to some texts.  PLEASE READ !

Rich and I have approached him to reiterate it's a waste of his time and resources anymore but he still won't take it down.  His decision.

My husband and I no longer update news or info on here.  Nor will Disney questions be timely answered.  So few ever log on anymore, it's no longer worthwhile.  We've moved on, our formerly active and knowledgeable members or moderators stopped logging on long ago, everyone has moved on since the 2009-2011 era forward.  All our decisions.

Would you post for the sake of posting in an empty storefront in a real shopping center where no one comes anymore?  No?  You get the idea.

Probably best that you please do NOT post here anymore if you are a returning lagging former member.

***  Posting for the sake of posting if you are a registered member is NOT guaranteed to get you conversation or a response or Disney-related assistance or referrals.  See the analogy of the closed store in a declining shopping center analogy and posting something at the door of the closed store.  Good analogy.  We already KNOW the site is dated an not maintained, OK?  *** Read on why it's dumb anymore to post.

Also our site is not maintained....  Nothing newsy to learn here.  All posts have date and times when someone posts.  Most of them are as old as the hills and twice as dusty.  Outdated info is NOT useful in planning your next Disney Cruise or Parks trip!

If you are a returning lagging former member or drive-by visiting guest:  We already know the site is dated or outdated, we know the site is not maintained, we already know after years links posted years ago may have aged and have zero content in 2015 and later years.  No need to post to nitpick over each one that's dated, doesn't work, or to update topics you posted years ago that, even years ago, didn't attract that much response anyway.  Like every hotel at WDW?  Good for you!  But no need to post that if practically speaking nobody is around to read it anymore because they've moved on since 2011.  Needless posting when you know the site is dormant = Not smart.

Other things...

Our site has been locked for years and years against new members attempting to join.  That's why you don't see spam ads or porn links anywhere in forums, new topics, or Comments on any existing topics.

Please it's better to NOT post, and instead.....

SUGGESTIONS FOR ALTERNATIVES !

Some suggestions instead where you can get sure-fire 100% Disney news, info, chat, social interaction, vacation planning chat and hand holding, etc. Sure-fire news you can use :

--Fan Sites I'm comfortable with recommending :  AllEarsNet.com by Deb Wills, MiceChat, Mouse Planet, Laughing Place.  Passporter Disney guide book author's website has a chat board with their book site and those people are nice and friendly, look up Passporter . com .  Disney Food Blog.

--No longer can recommend : The DIS Boards or WDW Info.  Years ago when Disney Echo was active we used to get ex- people from DIS Boards who complained about the way moderators acted towards people who posted and complained about the social atmosphere there.  I watched a video podcast of WDW Info's recently, and there are certainly differences in the personal "style" and outlooks of the hosts vs. how everyone used to be on Disney Echo in our site's heyday.

So I'll put my advice this way:  "Know before you go."  Just read the site, Comments, page, feeds or Twitter send-outs for several weeks first.  After weeks and weeks have gone by ask yourself if you would, in theory if not in reality, want to spend time having a cup of coffee with them if the opportunity came up, or do a meet up in a Disney park, or cruise with them or group travel with them.  They can have Disney facts and info, but lots of sites do that, so judge by how the site makes you feel socially.  You have to feel comfortable with the people, the Admin, the Moderators and the "terms of use" and how that's enforced, and with how people treat each other.  After several weeks of "lurking" anonymously you'll know if you feel socially comfortable with them, or if another site's culture is more your cup of tea.  Are they friendly and approachable, or aloof and elitist?  Are they helpful?  Or entitled and protect their turf?  If somehow in Real Life you sat with any of them and had a cup of coffee with them, would you feel comfortable and want to get to know them more... or not?  Only you know yourself best, and your past dealings in the heyday of Disney Echo best.  Join or not accordingly.  To thine own self be true.  If you join anyway and feel it's not for you, remember I suggested to "lurk first".

UPDATED 08/09/15: Amendments and changes to some texts.  PLEASE READ !

Imagine that and how I just described.  You get the idea.

***** For ANYTHING Disney-related you are tempted to research or post about on our site ***** See Next !

SUGGESTIONS FOR ALTERNATIVES !

Some suggestions instead where you can get sure-fire 100% Disney news, info, chat, social interaction, vacation planning chat and hand holding, etc. Sure-fire news you can use :

--Rich Koster and other former Moderators or Site Admin rarely visit here and can best be described as "moved on now".  I periodically mainly let the laggard members and drive-by guests  know to move on now.  Site's defunct now.  Take it seriously.  Sad but true.  BUT the above IS our site helping you to help yourself, find yourself news, info, and new online Disney pals, and whatever you may want to know since our site can't do that anymore, it's old and outdated now.

In addition to the above in the Quote Box, also check out the fan website and social media presences of DIS Dining . com, My Disney Experience online at Disney.go.com and it's App about Walt Disney World, and brand new officially from Disney Disneyland App .  Also from Disney Parks a new venture with Flipboard for an online Disney Parks "magazine":

In addition to the above in the Quote Box....

Hat Tip: Friends of The Walt Disney Family Museum, passing it along to those of you who might be interested.  The gist:  A new App that a developer did that passes along Disney news.  Quoting from Friends of The Walt Disney Family Museum page:

"We’ve checked out this FREE app and were incredibly impressed by both its ease of navigation and its incredible depth.
From Jack Kendall:
“I’m a huge Disney fan, have been all my life! I care incredibly deeply about The Walt Disney Company. And it’s this concern that recently led me to wonder why Disney had not made an amazing Disney news app for iPhone and Android, so I decided to do something about it, and make one!
“I know how to make apps, it’s what I do, but this has very much been a labor of love and a project that I have done so that every Disney fan can keep the magic going all year round. It covers news from every facet of the Walt Disney Company.
“Any feedback is welcome, and if you could share it or give it a review that would be great!
“Oh and It’s Free and Always Will Be.”"

Adding on as we approach the New Year 2016 :

  :MickeyNewYear:

May you find all the best in life in 2016 non-materially as well as the material.

From Rich and I and our family to you Happy New Year!

No change in status to the Disney Echo that I know of, even from the true owner of it ( no plans to pull the plug, I asked and got zero reply this year ), so the status quo of the past few years since 2010-2011-2012 + / - stays the same moving forward.  If it seems dormant and out-dated as of when / if you're reading this, likely in 2016 it'll stay that way.

Find another Disney fan site to like, get involved with multitudes of Disney news Apps for your smart phone and tablet and laptop, find new fan communities.  I suggest two :  D23 Disney's own fan club, and The Disneyana Fan Club which has chapters all over the US and an annual convention each July.  Look these up.  Fan sites I recommend are Laughing Place, MiceChat and Mouse Planet.  Look these up.  News sources:  Google News, keyword whatever Disney-related one you like (spell it correctly and call it it's accurate Disney name ! ) .  Orlando Sentinel online, look for Travel, then Daily Disney, and also on the site Theme Park Rangers.  Orange County Register look up Disneyland.  Touring Plans website.  Deb Will's All Ears Net . com website.  Passporter published Disney guidebook website (WDW, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Special needs Disney traveler's book called Open Mouse), Passporter also has chat forums, book updates and social media subscriptions-feeds-likes-follows.  For the sites and news media and entities above:  Look for and acquire and use any Apps and social media feeds any of the above do.

Take care & Happy New Year! Thanks for logging on to read this, your past support, your prayers, friendly and fun past times on this site, and best of luck and happiness to you for the future.

Scroll back, review past postings for referrals to Disney websites and collectors clubs and vintage Walt Disney admiring sites.

Since 2011 +/- Disney Echo isn't the social small community of fans it used to be.  The former great folks and helpful fellow online fans and Moderators went the way of mobile devices and social media, to the four winds.

Instead, so that Disney Echo can still be helpful in referring "visitors" "Guests" and "drive by's" to sites that are much more helpful than this one, I started this Topic.

Just scroll back, read, get info and sites that seem helpful and useful, and be assured these are sure fire referrals you'll like.

I've added today some New Topics in Main Forum Index Forums : Collectibles, Disney TV, Disney Radio, and here in Disney Echo Ear 2 Ear .  Strangers will send me periodic Private Messages I receive on Facebook "I'm looking for a long ago (radio show, memorabilia, TV special that aired only once 8+ years ago ) kind of thing, can you make a copy for me if you have one....Happened to see you posted about it on Disney Echo website, so I thought I'd ask...."

So I answered individually... then answered here for future "visitors" "Guests" drive by's".

Titles to look for in Forums about Disney Echo Ear 2 Ear, Disney TV, Disney Radio, and Disney Collectibles :

Disney Echo Defunct...Finding Long Lost Radio Shows
Disney Echo Defunct…Finding Long Lost TV Shows
Disney Echo Defunct...Finding Long Lost Collectibles
Disney Echo Defunct...Finding Long Lost Anything

Use the main Disney Echo Forum Index or the grey Topics button at the top of this page to locate those Forums or / and specific Topics.

Repeating :

1.  Scroll back in THIS TOPIC to find recommendations to alternative fan and news sites for Disney news, information, travel advice and social community to talk you through trip planning or other aspects of being a fan of Disney.

2.  Go to Main Disney Echo Forum Index.  Find Forums in that Index about Radio, TV Shows, Collectibles, And Disney Echo Ear 2 Ear you want to locate.  The above Topic Titles all four have the same identical content, just copied and pasted in specific Forums.

3.  Grey button at the top of this page "Topics", click it, and you see this current Topic, some others having to do with the defunct Disney Echo and those four New Topics.  Click. Read.  Take notes.  Follow advice.  Many have identical content.  Looking for help and referrals?  All the above have that, Disney Echo continuing to help you even though this site is dormant now.

Happy to help !  Best of luck networking around !
