Hi everyone!  I am obsessing about my Christmas visit to WDW.  I am interested in the Candlelight Processional Package.    I did see a website that listed the participating restaurants from last year.  I would be interested in the Garden Grill.  I guess my question is....what time would you make your PS for if you did the package deal???

Can anyone shed any light on this for me?  Is it to early for details....times, participating restaurants, etc.

Thanks for any info about this!

:santa: HoHoHo!!!  Let's see...I have seen a tentative list of Narrators and it looks like Gary Sinesse will probably be there for you guys.  I am not sure where the list came from because I cannot find it anywhere online, but someone here sent it to me.

The CP takes place 3 times a night...5:45 I believe is the first one.  When you call to make your Package Reservation, Disney Dining will ask you a few questions.  1) Which CP do you want to attend; 2) Do you want to eat before or after?  They will then pretty much assign you a PS.  When we have done the 5:45 CP our PS has been 4:15...I think...something like that.  We could have eaten after as well.

Anyway, long story short, you let them know what time you want to go to Candlelight and whether you want to eat before or after...they assign PS time.  You will pick up your Package info at Guest Services at your resort when you check in.

I have a question concerning the Candlelight Processional.  Is it appropriate for young children (3 1/2 ,6,and 8 yrs old)?  This is our first Holiday time visit.

Thanks

Yoo Hoo, Toni / MinnieMom!

It is absolutely appropriate, as long as they are well behaved attending stage show productions. You'll all be sitting on bench seats.

Welcome to the Disney Echo! Here's a pair of Disney EchoEars for you with my thanks for joining us:

Here is information from DisneyWorld.com's official Holidays Around The World website:

Travel World Showcase as holiday traditions come to life. Share the customs of legendary givers of gifts and tellers of tales from countries around the globe. Join the magic at dusk as you gather around a giant tree with your favorite Disney Characters for a joyous new tree lighting ceremony.

Celebrate the holiday season with the nightly Candlelight Processional, an inspiring musical retelling of the Christmas Story in the America Gardens Theatre. Behold this beloved story as it is told on a grand scale with a brilliant orchestra, a choir of hundreds and a celebrity narrator.

The symphony orchestra for this event has 50 members.

This is a great chance to find some unique holiday gifts that you are not likely to find elsewhere.

Yes, you could take one of the boats over.  It'll take about 20 to 25 minutes to walk it from the Garden Grill, IMO.
