I can respect the results of the Nov. 6th, 2012 election and that Pres. Obama is now re-elected but term-limited to serve one more four-year term. But since the man in his first term was a camera hog and flew all over the place to show he was "working" as President, I feel there is no further reason to see him as an Audio-Animatronic speaking figure of incumbent President. He was over-exposed in media in the first term, and we'll see him all over media in his second term, I can turn TV on any time and see him as President.
IMHO: At WDW there are many NEW attractions, shows, features, eateries, even a whole new Land at Magic Kingdom. I'd rather see the new stuff rather than a four-year old attraction with a four year old speaking robot who'll be there the next four years speaking which I can watch on You Tube any time I want at home, so I can skip hall of Presidents. Since I also disagree politically with Pres. Obama I also have no intention of visiting the Hall of Presidents unless I can skip the Audio-Animatronic auditorium part and see a balanced exhibit of all the Presidents of the US in the overall exhibit who've served and then leave.
Incidentally Disney and Disney CEO Rogert Iger are campaign contributors to Obama, and it's known in the past four years Disney has done special promotional things even in the White House for the Obamas. First Lady Michelle Obama and their two daughters were given a private showing at Disneyland of "World of Color", for security purposes since the crowd can be huge out there. Pres. Obama has spoken at WDW at conferences, even in front of Cinderella's Castle, so it's very likely tourists will encounter his motorcade there coming or going as he might speak to other conferences or events there prior to his leaving office Jan. 20, 2017.
Hall of Presidents, BTW, is famous for parents of very young children (infants, toddlers, young pre-school-agers) for being both air conditioned and boring enough for that age group that they can power nap in the main show... cool.... dark..... cushioned seats..... closing eyes just for a minute.... then.... Young children just don't understand or care for that level of attraction, so it's perfectly understandable.
