I often see in mesages, "To see (something), click here".  That link then takes the reader to another location.

After searching Jiminy's Encyclopedia, I still haven't found out how to do this.  All I can resort to is typing in the actual URL for the site I want to share with others.

So what's the secret?  Enquiring minds want to know!

Thanks in advance!

The secret is the Mouseke-Code Buttons above the message writing area of your post.  There is one that is labeled http:// in blue.  Click on that and you get a script prompt where you can type in a URL.  Click OK and then you get another prompt where you can type in the name of the web site or some other phrase like "click here to go there"--whatever you want.

If you like to type, though, you can just employ standard hypertext markup language.  At the beginning of the URL type
symbol after it.  Next, with no spaces after the ] you type the words you want "marked up" (like "my webpage") and then you close with .  Clear as mud?  Thought so!  Use the Mouseke-code Button!   :o

Thanks, Becky!  Boy, since I've received such friendly and helpful advice, I can now tell everyone I know to click here to go to an awesome website!

And thanks, Rich, for adding this to the help files!

My pleasure, Mellie! Nice link you've got there. ;)

With such great advice and helpful EchoEars, I know the Disney Echo will be in great shape when I'm off keyboard on my upcoming Disney Cruise and WDW vacation.

Now see why they call me WebTink (or Webchyck in my other life) !?!  Glad to be of service.

I keep watching your clock go down, down, down, Rich, and I'm so envious and excited for you!  I can't wait to hear about the cruise, especially!  (Will we have to call you Commodore Koster after this? )

LOL No, I'll probably switch to another mouse-eared hat that will be in keeping with wherever we'll be staying for our next Disney trip. I'll probably have to come up with something appropriate for a less-expensive budget, like a mouse-eared Pop Century Resort hat.
