We have been many times to stay at the Polynesian.  I am just curious....

When do you think is the best time to stay there and give me your reasons for choosing that particular time of year.

For me personally, it would not make any difference, just to be there would do it for me.

Thanks in advance.

Um, anytime I can afford it and have family vacation time available is just fine with me!

Well, Charline, as you already know, I think any day ending in "y" is a good day to be at the Poly! Seriously, we have stayed there at least once in every month except June - 12 family birthdays in that particular month leaves us little time for any travel. I have enjoyed each trip, and the Poly has things that make it special at every time of the year. I'd have to say, though, that travelling from Chicago, February was my favorite time to be there. By that time I've had it with winter, and being in the midst of the lush landscaping with the Tiki rhythms in the background, the lagoon lapping at the sand, and the warmth of the Poly cast members saved my sanity.

Okay Donna!  You are making wish I was there right now....

Can't wait to hear about your trip and what you got to see and how it looked there.

Fall is the perfect time for me, though February is sounding pretty good right now.

As others have said, I'd be happy at the Polynesian ANY time of year. lol

However...  after having stayed there this past July, and then again just this past week, I greatly prefer October/November simply because of the weather.  In July the heat and humidity made me feel less like walking the grounds and exploring the resort beyond the Hawaii building and the GCH.  But this time, DH and I took walks at night, walked to the TTC to get the Epcot monorail, lingered outdoors, etc.  :)    I'd feel this way no matter which resort, but we definitely had a nicer time this fall :)

See....anytime is worth going!  We have only stayed there in March, April, June and July.

I must try February and late October.....just have too!

Seaspray - can you share what the differences were in the crowds at the Polynesian, any differences with CM's, services or whatever you might want to share.  Would appreciate it.
